"body": "২৪ জুলাই, শুক্রবার। সকাল ১১টা নাগাদ ইডি দপ্তরে আসেন অর্চনা।\n\nবুধ ও বৃহস্পতিবার হাজিরা দিয়েছেন দুই ছেলে। আজ, শুক্রবার ইডি দপ্তরে হাজিরা দিলেন মদন মিত্রের স্ত্রী অর্চনা মিত্র। এদিন সকাল ১১টা নাগাদ ছোট ছেলে শুভরূপের সঙ্গে সিজিও কমপ্লেক্সের ইডি দপ্তরে আসেন তিনি। সাংবাদিকদের কোনও প্রশ্নের উত্তর না দিয়ে লিফটে উঠে যেতে দেখা যায় তাঁকে।\n\nকয়েকদিন আগেই পুর নিয়োগ দুর্নীতি মামলায় মদন মিত্রের স্ত্রী-পুত্রদের তলব করে নোটিস পাঠিয়েছিল এনফোস্টমেন্ট ডিরেক্টরেট। এই নোটিস পাওয়ার পরেই মমতার হাত ছেড়ে ঋতব্রত শিবিরের সঙ্গে হাত মেলান মদন মিত্র। এই নিয়ে বিতর্ক হতেই মদন জানিয়েছিলেন, ইডির থেকে এবি (অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্য়ায়) বেশি ভয়ের। শিবির বদলের পরই তদন্তে সবরকম সাহায্যের বার্তা দেন তিনি। এমনকী স্ত্রী, পুত্ররাও তদন্তের মুখোমুখি হবেন বলে জানান। সেই মতো বুধবার তাঁর ছোটো ছেলে শুভরূপ মিত্র সিজিও কমপ্লেক্সে হাজিরা দেন। সেখানে তাঁকে প্রায় ৯ ঘণ্টা ধরে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করেন আধিকারিকরা। ছোটো ছেলের পর বৃহস্পতিবার মদনের বড় ছেলে স্বরূপ মিত্র হাজিরা দেন ইডি দপ্তরে। তাঁকেও জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করেন তদন্তকারীরা। গতকালই স্বরূপ জানান, ইডির তলবে শুক্রবার তাঁর মা সিজিও কমপ্লেক্সে হাজিরা দেবেন। সেই মতো আজ ইডি দপ্তরে হাজির হন মদনের স্ত্রী অর্চনা। তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করছে ইডি আধিকারিকরা। মামলা সংক্রান্ত যেসব নথি তাঁকে আনতে বলা হয়েছে সেগুলি এদিন খতিয়ে দেখা হতে পারে।\n\nইডির দাবি, টিটাগড় পুরসভায় মোটা অঙ্কের বিনিময়ে চাকরি পেয়েছিলেন ১২৫ জন। সেই তদন্তের সূত্রেই ইডির হাতে কামারহাটির বিধায়ক মদন মিত্রের নাম উঠে আসে। এরপরই তাঁর একাধিক ঠিকানায় তল্লাশি চালায় কেন্দ্রীয় এই তদন্তকারী সংস্থা। তল্লাশি চলে বিধায়কের অফিস, বাড়ি-সহ একাধিক জায়গায় তল্লাশি চালায় ইডি। এমনকী মদন মিত্রকেও এই মামলায় জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হয়। এরপরই বিধায়কের দুই পুত্র অর্থাৎ শুভরূপ ও স্বরূপ মিত্রকে তলব করা হয়। তলব করা হয় মদন মিত্রের স্ত্রী অর্চনা মিত্রকেও। ইডি সূত্রে খবর, নিয়োগের বিনিময়ে অবৈধ কোনও লেনদেন হয়েছিল কি না তা খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে। এই বিষয়ে আরও জানতে ব্যাঙ্কের নথি-সহ বেশ কিছু তথ্য কামারহাটির বিধায়কের পরিবারের কাছ থেকে চাওয়া হয়েছে বলে খবর। ২৯ জুলাই ডাকা হয়েছে মদন মিত্রকেও। তার আগে শুক্রবার তাঁর স্ত্রী ইডি দপ্তরে হাজিরা দিলেন।",

The court also imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh.\n\nTwo other accused Desraj and Satnam Singh were, however, acquitted in the murder case.\n\nThe court also rejected the prosecution's plea for capital punishment, stating that the case did not qualify as one of the \"rarest of rare\".\n\nThe court convicted the accused on July 17 and the sentence was pronounced on July 22.\n\nAccording to the prosecution, Sucha Singh went missing on June 12, 2021, after leaving home to graze his goats.\n\nThe family came to know that Jagir Singh took Sucha to his house for making enclosure for goats. When Sucha did not return home that day, Jagir told the family that Sucha had gone with one Desraj.\n\nBut Sucha did not return home, prompting the family to lodge a missing complaint with police.\n\nDespite the family carrying out search at their own level for over a week, Sucha Singh could not be found. Thereafter, the family members of Sucha Singh went to Jagir's farmhouse on June 20, 2021. The family also took along their pet dog Rocky.\n\nWhen the family members were looking for Sucha Singh, their pet dog Rocky went towards a small pit. The family then started digging and found Sucha's T-shirt. Later police was called in and the headless body of Sucha Singh was exhumed from the spot.\n\nThe family alleged that Sucha was murdered as Jagir owed ₹40,000 to the victim for the purchase of two goats and four lambs.\n\nPolice registered a murder case against Jagir and two others'\"Satnam Singh and Desraj.\n\nThe court ordered that compensation be given to the Sucha's wife Sunita Devi through the District Legal Services Authority.",

Whether in television or movies or even in streaming shows, he always made sure that he is part of productions that will push his boundaries as opposed to staying in one character. In an exclusive interview with the Hindustan Times ahead of the Netflix show called Musafir Cafe on which he turns co-producer, Vikrant explained how he managed to avoid getting pigeonholed and why he owes it all to those around him.\n\nVikrant Massey shared that he has never believed in falling into the stereotype trap. And according to him, most of this has been attributed to the fact that he loves the audiences who have supported him on every platform he worked, whether television, movies or OTT.\n\n\"The last thing you want is to be bracketed. But I think I've also been very lucky, you know, lucky with the fact that just to sort of put it briefly. My audiences have been so gracious, so patient, graceful with me and I'm so grateful to them. Buy salsa Mujhe Dekreimo. Uh, TV Pe, Dekha, Cinema jacket, dictivikriti, uh, OTT, baby, Dekhre. It's because of that,\" he told HT.\n\nVikrant Massey said that his career path would never have evolved the way it did had there been no filmmakers who had faith in his abilities despite him having doubts about his own capabilities. \"And yes, I also got very lucky with the collaborators I sort of encountered in that journey. They allowed me to sort of see myself in a different light, even when I was not willing to,\" he added.\n\nRecalling some of the people who played a big role in his growth, he said, \"For example, a Konkana Sen Sharma saw Shutu (a character from A Death in Gunj) in me when I was not able to. So her faith in me sort of gave me te confidence to go against the grain and do what I otherwise would have not done. Or when an Excel came my way with the Mirzapur or when Vidhu Vinod Chopra came my way or, when a Meghna Gulzar came my way.\"\n\nOne such pivotal point of time for Vikrant was when he was offered the film Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar and featuring Deepika Padukone. He revealed that he nearly backed out of the project because he did not know whether he could pull off a role opposite an actor like that. It was Meghna Gulzar who helped convince him to accept the challenge.\n\n\"I remember during Chapaak, I said, 'Deepika is a big star. She's as tall as me. We won't look good'. So she (Meghna Gulzar) convinced me (to do the project). She said, 'You guys will look good together. I want you to play the part, but these are the pre-requisites that I have.' And I almost chickened out. It's also a lot of other people who've shown a lot of faith in me. It's it's an ongoing journey. So that gives you the confidence too.\"\n\nWritten and created by Sharanya Rajgopal, Musafir Cafe is directed by Ruchir Arun. The show is produced by Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT) and Homemade Stories. It is based on Divya Prakash Dubey's novel of the same name and stars Vikrant Massey as Chander Mohan Sharma, a man who lives a meticulously planned life until he comes across Sudha (Vedika Pinto), an independent divorce lawyer who pushes him out of his comfort zone to dream beyond his plans. However, as life progresses, Chander also meets Preeti (Mahima Makwana), a woman who supports him silently with her undying faith. Together, their stories shed light on how relationships coming into our lives during different stages of life make us who we are.\n\nApart from Vikrant Massey, Musafir Cafe features Adil Hussain, Rajeev Siddhartha, Anubha Fatehpuria, Loveleen Mishra and Sadia Siddiqui in key roles.
