Παρά τις χιλιάδες ψήφους που συγκέντρωσαν, αρκετοί πολιτικοί σχηματισμοί δεν κατάφεραν να υπερβούν το απαιτούμενο όριο για κοινοβουλευτική εκπροσώπηση, σε μια εκλογική αναμέτρηση που ανέτρεψε ισορροπίες και αναδιαμόρφωσε τον πολιτικό χάρτη.\n\nΠιο κοντά στην είσοδο στη Βουλή βρέθηκαν η ΕΔΕΚ με ποσοστό 3,3% και 12.097 ψήφους, οι Ενεργοί Πολίτες - Κίνημα Ενωμένων Κυπρίων Κυνηγών με 3,2% και 11.890 ψήφους, η Δημοκρατική Παράταξη (ΔΗΠΑ) με 3,1% και 11.695 ψήφους, καθώς και το ΒΟΛΤ που επίσης συγκέντρωσε 3,1% και 11.487 ψήφους. Παρά τη δυναμική που κατέγραψαν, κανένα από τα τέσσερα κόμματα δεν κατάφερε να εξασφαλίσει έδρα στη νέα Βουλή.\n\nΕκτός κοινοβουλίου έμεινε και το Κίνημα Οικολόγων - Συνεργασία Πολιτών, το οποίο συγκέντρωσε ποσοστό 2% και 7.265 ψήφους, ενώ το Δημοκρατικό Εθνικό Κίνημα (ΔΕΚ) έλαβε 0,7% και 2.628 ψήφους. Το κόμμα \"Σήκου Πάνω\" εξασφάλισε 0,5% και 1.898 ψήφους, ενώ ο \"Αγρονόμος - Αγροτικό Εργατικό Κόμμα\" κατέγραψε ποσοστό 0,3% με 1.044 ψήφους. Στο ίδιο ποσοστό κινήθηκε και η Δημοκρατική Αλλαγή (ΔΗΜΑΛ), η οποία έλαβε 1.020 ψήφους.\n\nΧαμηλότερα ποσοστά κατέγραψαν το Πράσινο Κόμμα Κύπρου με 0,1% και 509 ψήφους, καθώς και το Πατριωτικό Μέτωπο \"Λακεδαιμόνιοι\" με επίσης 0,1% και 493 ψήφους. Ανάμεσα στους ανεξάρτητους υποψηφίους, ο Σάββας Κυριάκος συγκέντρωσε 194 ψήφους, η Ιφιγένεια Κάτσιη 74 ψήφους, ο Χριστόδουλος Χριστοδούλου 64 ψήφους, ο Αλέξης Μακρίδης 59 ψήφους, ο Ανδρέας Ευστρατίου 45 ψήφους και ο Μάριος Τενίζης 40 ψήφους.\n\nΠαράλληλα, η \"Ακρο-αριστερή Αντίσταση Κομμουνισμός\" έλαβε 39 ψήφους, ο \"Λαϊκός Αγώνας Ελευθερία\" 33 ψήφους, ενώ οι ανεξάρτητοι Χριστάκης Ροτσίδης, Λουκάς Σταύρου και Κωνσταντίνος Μαυρομμάτης συγκέντρωσαν 18, 17 και 14 ψήφους αντίστοιχα.",

"body": "Πρώτα απ' όλα, το ΔΗΚΟ έδειξε -ίσως για πρώτη φορά μετά από καιρό- μια εικόνα σοβαρότητας και πολιτικής πειθαρχίας\n\nΤο αποτέλεσμα που επεφύλαξε στο Δημοκρατικό Κόμμα η κάλπη των σημερινών βουλευτικών εκλογών είναι σαφέστατα πολύ καλύτερο απ' ό,τι προδιαγραφόταν. Ναι, έχασε την τρίτη θέση από το ΕΛΑΜ και αυτό έχει ισχυρό συμβολικό και πολιτικό βάρος. Αλλά το γεγονός ότι συγκράτησε το ποσοστό του στο 10% (από το 11,29% του 2021) και κυρίως οι οκτώ έδρες, ίδιες με το ΕΛΑΜ που το ξεπέρασε μόλις κατά 0,9%, μόνο ως αποτυχία δεν μπορούν να διαβαστούν.\n\nΓιατί η αλήθεια είναι πως το ΔΗΚΟ μπήκε σε αυτή την προεκλογική περίοδο με πραγματικό φόβο υπαρξιακής φθοράς. Το κλίμα των προηγούμενων μηνών και τα στοιχεία των δημοσκοπικών ερευνών μας είχαν προϊδεάσει για μια θεαματική κατάρρευση. Οι δημοσκοπήσεις δεν έδειχναν μόνο απώλειες· έδειχναν πιθανή απορρύθμιση του ίδιου του ρόλου του. Του ρυθμιστικού ρόλου από τον οποίο αντλούσε την ισχύ και την επιρροή του, ως η μεγάλη δύναμη του κέντρου. Νέα σχήματα, όπως το Άλμα ή η Άμεση Δημοκρατία, έδειχναν να διεκδικούν μεγάλο κομμάτι από το μερίδιό του, με κίνδυνο όχι απλώς να μικρύνει, αλλά να χάνει τη θέση του στο πολιτικό οικοσύστημα. Τη μετατροπή του ΔΗΚΟ από ρυθμιστή σε ένα ακόμη μικρό, μεσαίο κόμμα.\n\nΑυτό τελικά δεν συνέβη. Και δεν συνέβη για πολλούς λόγους ταυτόχρονα.\n\nΠρώτα απ' όλα, το ΔΗΚΟ έδειξε -ίσως για πρώτη φορά μετά από καιρό- μια εικόνα σοβαρότητας και πολιτικής πειθαρχίας. Αν εξαιρέσουμε τους τελευταίους μήνες του 2025, στη συνέχεια δεν επέδειξε υπερβολή, δεν ακολούθησε την τοξικότητα, δεν λειτούργησε με πανικό. Σε μια περίοδο γενικευμένης πολιτικής αποστροφής, αυτό λειτούργησε υπόγεια αλλά ουσιαστικά. Ένα μέρος του εκλογικού σώματος αναζήτησε σταθερότητα αντί έντασης.\n\nΣημαντικό ρόλο έπαιξαν και οι εμφανίσεις του Νικόλα Παπαδόπουλου. Όχι γιατί ξαφνικά μετατράπηκε σε χαρισματικό λαϊκό ηγέτη, αλλά γιατί έβγαλε κάτι που το κόμμα είχε ανάγκη: έλεγχο, καθαρό μήνυμα και αίσθηση πολιτικής επιβίωσης. Σε μια προεκλογική περίοδο όπου πολλοί μιλούσαν για το τέλος του ΔΗΚΟ, ο Νικόλας Παπαδόπουλος δεν εμφανίστηκε ως εμπνευστής, έπαιξε περισσότερο ως \"manager σταθερότητας\". Και αυτό πιθανόν ήταν ακριβώς το σωστό για τη συγκυρία.\n\nΚαθοριστικός φαίνεται πως ήταν και ο παράγοντας της \"χρήσιμης ψήφου\". Ένα κομμάτι ψηφοφόρων που κινούνται στον ίδιο πολιτικό χώρο, βλέποντας τη ΔΗΠΑ να αποδυναμώνεται και μικρότερα σχήματα να παλεύουν με την αβεβαιότητα της εισόδου στη Βουλή, επέλεξαν τελικά τη βεβαιότητα. Προτίμησαν ένα κόμμα που ξέρουν ότι θα είναι μέσα, ότι θα έχει ρόλο, ότι μπορεί να επηρεάζει αποφάσεις. Σε τέτοιες εκλογές, ο φόβος της χαμένης ψήφου λειτουργεί πολύ πιο δυνατά απ' όσο συχνά φαίνεται δημόσια.\n\nΚαι φυσικά, το ΔΗΚΟ απέδειξε ξανά ότι εξακολουθεί να διαθέτει κάτι που πολλά νέα κόμματα δεν έχουν: μηχανισμό. Όταν άρχισε να φαίνεται πραγματικός κίνδυνος συρρίκνωσης, ο κομματικός μηχανισμός ενεργοποιήθηκε σχεδόν αντανακλαστικά. Τοπικά δίκτυα, προσωπικές σχέσεις, κινητοποίηση στελεχών, οικογενειακές και κοινωνικές επιρροές, όλα εκείνα που πολλοί θεωρούν ξεπερασμένα, στην κάλπη συνεχίζουν να μετρούν.\n\nΥπάρχει όμως και κάτι βαθύτερο στο αποτέλεσμα αυτό. Ίσως ένα κομμάτι της κοινωνίας να ψήφισε με τη λογική \"τον δαίμονα που ξέρουμε\".
